Cultural stone mold silicone is a liquid silicone used for cultural stone turnover, which can be added or condensed. Generally, more people use condensed mold silicone, which is also because the price of condensed mold silicone is lower than that of addition molding. Addition molding is an environmentally friendly silicone, which is slightly expensive, and is usually used more by customers with strict environmental requirements.
This product consists of AB dual component, A component silicone, and B component curing agent. During operation, mix the AB two components in a weight ratio of 100:2-2.5 (1:1 for addition molding), stir evenly, and then solidify to form. The hardness of silicone used for flipping cultural stone products is generally around 30-40, and the specific hardness to use needs to be selected based on the product characteristics

Operation process:
1. Mix the mold silicone and curing agent in a weight ratio of 100:2-2.5 and stir evenly;
2. Put the mixed and stirred silicone gel into the vacuum machine for vacuum treatment, which will make the finished product smoother and free of bubbles; If there is no vacuum pump, the curing time can be extended to allow the silicone gel to naturally remove bubbles, but the effect is not very ideal.
3. Spray (apply) release agent to the already made mold and mold frame, and place the mold in the middle. Slowly and steadily pour the vacuum filled silicone into the mold frame until the mold silicone completely covers the mold, and then let it rest until it solidifies;
4. After the silicone is completely cured, demoulding can be carried out. Take out the silicone mold for edge treatment. Generally, it is recommended to leave the demolded silicone mold for 24 hours before putting it into use, as this will extend the service life of the silicone mold

               

 

Precautions:
1. The silicone and curing agent must be evenly mixed to avoid the phenomenon of non curing of silicone;
2. The prepared liquid silicone should be used up as much as possible within the operable time;
3. When the original model produces glass, ceramics, or is coated with paint, the original model is evenly coated with shampoo solution or soapy water. After the water evaporates, the mold silicone is poured or brushed to facilitate better demolding;

Technical parameters:

The operational time and demolding time after the ratio of silicone and curing agent:
When the amount of curing agent added is 1%, the colloid will still flow after 2.5 hours and can be demolded after 6-8 hours;
When the amount of curing agent added is 2%, the colloid will still flow within 50-1 hour, and demolding can be carried out within 2-3 hours;
When the amount of curing agent added is 3%, the colloid will still flow after 28 to 30 minutes, and demolding can be carried out after 1.5 to 2 hours;
When the amount of curing agent added is 4%, the colloid will still flow within 10-15 minutes and can be demolded within 1-1.5 hours.
