How to remove silicone adhesive sealant?

Before the silica gel is solidified: scrape off the uncured paste with a putty knife, and then clean the residue with petroleum ether (120 # gasoline). After the silica gel is solidified: first, use a knife or razor to mechanically scrape as much silica gel as possible, then use a solvent (120 # gasoline, toluene, xylene or acetone) to remove all kinds of oil residue or silica gel, soak the silica gel in this solvent overnight for swelling before cleaning.
